AIC-CCMB

The Atal Incubation Centre- Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB) is a premier technology incubator supporting deep science startups. Established at CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad under the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog, GoI in 2017, this incubation centre has become a hub for innovations life sciences and biotechnology. Conservation Science and Innovation Laboratory’ (CoSI) based at CORD, University of Kashmir is an effort to address emerging threats to wildlife in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. AIC-CCMB along with CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) and IKP Knowledge Park from Hyderabad partnered with the Centre of Research for Development, the University of Kashmir for this lab. Rural Electrification Corporation Foundation generously supported the establishment of CoSI-Lab under their CSR initiative. from all over Telangana and the country in a very short time. 

CSIR-CCMB offers over 35 genetic tests for clinicians and wildlife forensics from all over the country. As a part of our service to CSIR-CCMB, AIC-CCMB has a vertical for conducting molecular diagnostics at the Conservation Science and Innovation Laboratory (COSI-LAB) We are looking to add a new team member to this diagnostic team.

Job Description

Conducting tests based on DNA analysis for molecular diagnostics with specific relevance to wildlife conservation. The job requires the candidate to relocate to Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The candidate will be initially trained in the documentation and execution of the work at CCMB, Hyderabad.

Eligibility

Candidate should be an Indian citizen with Masters Degree in the below mentioned subjects with at least 55% marks. Only those candidates with age less than 35 years on the interview date are eligible for these positions.


Qualifications

Masters Degree in Biotechnology or Life Sciences with experience in a lab or training in the skills required is mandatory

Salary Range
