OPENING FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

The Atal Incubation Centre – Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB) is a technology business incubator supporting deep-science startups. Established at CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India in 2017, AIC-CCMB has rapidly grown into a hub for life sciences and biotechnology startups and MSMEs across Telangana and the country.

The Centre manages multiple grants, startup programs from various Ministries and Departments, and also handles CSR projects.

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to perform the accounting and compliance activities of the incubator efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate should be sincere, hardworking, a self-starter, and a go-getter with good written and verbal communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of Grants and accounting of Section 8 Companies
• Manage end-to-end accounting operations: GL, payroll, taxation, invoicing, and financial closures
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PT, and Companies Act, 2013 requirements
• Handle GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, etc.) and TDS filings; reconcile with Form 26AS
• Maintain vouchers, expense booking, AR/AP, and periodic financial reporting
• Monitor revenues and expenses; prepare monthly/quarterly MIS reports
• Support audits (statutory and financial controls) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Liaise with auditors, statutory authorities, and grant agencies
• Supervise accounting team and oversee billing, collections, and budgeting
• Liaison with the Grant issuing authorities for any discrepancies or reconciliation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounts, taxation, and audit in a corporate environment.
• Prior experience of 6+ years in an accounting/audit firm will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and statutory e-filing portals.
• Experience in handling accounts of a public organization, incubator, NGO, Section 8 company, or grant-based entity will be highly preferred.
