The Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB) under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) is a premier research organization in frontier areas of modern biology.
The Centre conducts high quality basic research and training in modern biology, and promotes centralized national facilities for new and modern techniques in the interdisciplinary areas of biology. With its legacy of promoting applied research, and entrepreneurship among the scientific community, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology is the perfect home for the Atal Incubation Centre.
As a research organization, CSIR – CCMB understands the opportunities and challenges a deep science start-up faces. As a host institute, CCMB works very closely with AIC to provide ancillary facilities and animal facilities.
