The Atal Incubation Centre- Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB) is a premier technology incubator supporting deep science start-ups. Established at CSIR – CCMB, Hyderabad under the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog, GoI in 2017, this incubation centre has become a hub for life sciences and biotechnology start-ups and MSMEs from all over Telangana and the country in a very short time.

As the number of start-ups incubated at the centre grows, we are looking for a self-starting individual who can assist the AIC-CCMB team with running various programs and day-to-day operations. We are looking for a self-motivated, confident, presentable and spontaneous team player who can multi-task and can wear many hats. As a part of a vibrant ecosystem, you will get a chance to hone your skills while enjoying the perks of working closely with different start-ups. shall be responsible for building an appropriate and self-sustaining incubation model by supporting the development of high-impact technology-driven start-ups in healthcare.

Role Overview

The Incubation Manager will oversee end-to-end management of incubation programs and operations at AIC–CCMB. The role involves supporting early-stage science-based startups, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth functioning of incubation activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, mission-driven, and passionate about translating deep science innovations into successful ventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Program & Operations Management
  • Support the team in planning, executing, and monitoring pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration activities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the incubator, including startup onboarding, progress tracking, compliance, and reporting.
  • Work closely with startups to understand challenges, facilitate mentorship, technical guidance, business advisory support, and networking, investor interactions, grant applications, regulatory filings, and IP documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mentors, industry partners, investors, academic experts, and government bodies.
  • Promote AIC–CCMB’s programs through events, workshops, outreach initiatives, and communication channels.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of incubation services and outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Doctoral or Master’s degree (PhD/M.Tech/M.E.) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Engineering from a nationally or internationally reputed institution.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in bio-incubator.
• Strong understanding of early-stage biotech/medtech startup needs, IP processes, regulatory pathways, and technology commercialization.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with prior experience working with government-supported incubators, academia-industry translational programs, or biotech funding schemes (BIRAC, AIM, DST, etc.) will be preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Remuneration

INR 7.20 – 10 Lakhs (CTC; inclusive of all) commiserate of qualification and experience.
